Free forever, and useful before your club has heard of us.
A Snapshot Scoring account costs nothing and always will. You don’t need your club to sign up, switch, or even know about it — there’s a practice log, a gear locker and a club directory waiting the moment you create an account.
What you get on day one, with no club involved
These work the moment you sign up. Nobody has to approve you and no club has to adopt anything.
- Practice log. Record draws, reloads, transitions, movement and accuracy drills, or define your own. Each entry takes a time, a round count, the firearm (pistol, rifle, shotgun or multiple), where you were, and a note. It keeps running stats so you can see whether the number is actually moving.
- Equipment and loadouts. Keep your firearms and gear on file, and build named loadouts — a match setup, a steel setup — instead of rebuilding the list from memory every season.
- Club discovery. Browse clubs already running on Snapshot Scoring and follow the ones you shoot, so their events show up in your feed.
That is a genuinely solo tool. If you never convince anyone at your club of anything, the practice log still works.
What unlocks when your club runs matches here
We’d rather be straight about this than let you find out later: the scoring side needs your club. These are real features, and they stay empty until a club you shoot runs its matches on Snapshot Scoring.
- My Scores — every match you’ve shot, with stage-by-stage detail.
- Career statistics and performance trends — your record over time rather than one result at a time.
- Classifier tracking — your classification history in one place.
- What-if analysis — what a different stage would have done to your finish.
- Circuit standings — where you sit across a season.
None of that can come from us. It comes from your club’s scoring, which is why the most useful thing you can do is put your club forward.
Where you can use it today
On the web, right now. Create an account at app.snapshotscoring.com and start logging practice in a couple of minutes. No invite code, no waiting list, no card.
On iOS and Android. The iPhone app is in TestFlight, by request, and the Android app is on Google Play. We’ll say so on the status page the day that changes.
Shooters never pay. There is no shooter tier to upgrade to — clubs pay for scoring, and founding clubs don’t pay at all.
